Gorgeous! Nice setting, too. That purple just jumps right off of the screen!

So I've got two skeins of a non-Rowan mohair/silk--what to do with it? It's not quite enough for Birch.

Carry

Oh no!!! Not a birch! I've already been drooling over it on other blogs...I just wish I was a shawl person...

Kristen

I keep thinking that a more profound word will surface and I won't keep using the same "oh! it's beautiful!" phrase, but that's all that comes to mind when I see the finished shawl! the colors are beautiful, and I love the texture that the pattern formed.

I'm avoiding a Kidsilk/Cracksilk comment. I'm in no financial situation to be investing in more yarn right now and will get around to trying it out later this summer (after I'm "paid" for being a student - the lovely living disbursement comes through). By then I think I'll be over doing socks and will want to be working on lace...

Cara

Love it! It's gorgeous! I googling the pattern right now. Thanks for sharing!

Stacie

Beautiful beautiful! Love the color of your new Crack too hehe

claudia

What a fabulous use of Indigo Moon. Delicious.

As for Birch. Well, it was inevitable, wasn't it? Welcome to the crackhouse.

Katy

Hey, it came out the perfect size! It's great!
And would you STOP already with the kidsilk? How much willpower do you think I HAVE???

Deb

Oh, it turned out just lovely! And the KSH? Yep, addictive . . . but in such a good way. Now that I've pretty much decided not to finish the Elfin cardigan, I get to figure out what to do with the KSH that would have been those scads of ruffles . . . gosh, isn't that awful?

The Feminist Mafia

Hey ... is that a familiar happy valley women's college with the same name as the local "mountain" range?

Kat

Mmmmm. I want some. Gorgeous completed shawl, too!

Helen

The shawl is beautiful! :)
