A blog to serve the needs of the infertile lesbian fiber arts former-breastfeeding parents of neurodiverse twins community, particularly those who are left-leaning democrats employed in research and education. Don't all comment at once, we don't want to crash the server.
I'm a knitting lesbian mom of twins who works as a researcher, believes in breastfeeding and gentle parenting, and who has strong political opinions. Pull of a chair and chat, would ya?
When I read the name, I accidentaly read it as Hydra Hergobar. A shawl of many heads, ready to grow new ones at a sward's touch.
But I know you're knitting the heck out of this baby. Looks beautiful as ever.

Wow.
You realize of course that I thought it was best if you knit it first, to watch your progress and see if it was insanity producing. So far, so good -- the experiment is almost complete.... can't wait to see it blocked.

Ooooh! The anticipation. I can't wait to see it. Especially because I had it in mind to ball up the yarn and start mine tonight or tomorrow. Along with a Rogue. Then again, I may just knit on the sock that is moving along.

Man, there are a lot of women here putting you in the "you go first" hotseat.
But they must know you're good for it. I can't wait to see the finished shawl. Gawd, crochet hooks and everything...you goddess ;-)

Gorgeous! I still haven't attempted lace yet (though there are two lace shawls in the pipeline for me). I'm in awe.
