Tomorrow, the onslaught of Maryland reports will hit our little knit-blogosphere. I didn't go, and I'm okay with that, mostly. I had a little moment when I heard that Rachel H had gone, and that I could have seen her there, but I'm over that too. Mostly.
Anyway, we had our own doings here. It was Pride Day on Saturday in Noho. The kids and I met up wtih some friends and had a parade day; Pride in Noho has truly become a family event, with a bounce house, face painting, and lots of, erm, performers throwing candy from floats. Good times.
A show of political unity.
And of course,
knitters spinners Thrillers represent!
Rhys was at a tag sale selling a bunch of our stuff for too little money and dealing with the weird tag sale people (ah, the general public!). The kids and I had a generally quite good day, though they're still at the point where overstimulation=tantrums. But they held it together quite well, all in all, and the day wound up sunny and warm.
Sunday was nice too, even though I wasn't petting yarn and sniffing roving like some people.
I even had a date with my two most...interesting...hairdressers.
It's the latest look.
How was your weekend?
