Shhhhhh. Don't look directly at it. But the handspun shoalwater "mini" (well, okay, it's actually not that small, but it took very little yarn, less than 300 yards) shawl?
(Ignore the water spots on my shirt, please.)
I'm not tempting fate here, so, please. Don't say anything out loud. It's not too late for it to spontaneously combust.
I also hear rumors that there might be S-U-N, at least in small quantitites, tommorrow. Let's not speak of that either, shall we?
It is DELIGHTFUL Cate !! Good job !! "The Shawl that Shall Not Be Named" is a beauty.
I'm still hoping to see you for breakfast in the morning. If all goes well, I'm outta here (Portsmouth) around 7 a.m.

Great shawl, Cate! It looks very wearable and is so cute! Okay, I was going to write more but the kids are crying ... take care!

It is lovely and an ideal size. it is drizzling wet here so I hope you don't get that. I'm off to a lesbian dinner dance tomorrow night. It says 'dress optional' on the tickets. Imagine what you will but I hear it is meant to be formal or semi-formal (it's organized by an outdoor group so maybe they're trying to encompass many versions of dressed up but 'optional' just makes me think -- naked women). Opps, that'll get odd google hits over here...

HAH! I wanna have a party with "dress optional" on it! Nope, then I'd have to clean the house. Cate, I LOVE that beautiful wrap (but I'm saying that very very quietly, no worries!) Enjoy the weekend!

it's stunning! but don't tell it! you have a *homespun* FO - not even sure I can say the same. Well, I have a hat, but it's a little small for my noggin.
any minute now we'll be on our way. I'm having a bit of a meltdown, but bloggers are making me laugh which is just the ticket ;)

I won't say anything . . . . but if I DID you might imagine that it would be of a complimentary nature, perhaps even laudatory or steeped in admiration. But, of course, this is purely hypothetical. As, I believe is this S-U-N stuff I've heard rumors about, and there was something about the sky being this weird, blue color . . . like that could ever happen! Everyone knows it's meant to be monochrome!

I'll be able to touch it at Rhinebeck, right?
And please stop making me feel bad for missing the Cult gathering.
Take care of Laurie, willya?

OHMYGOD. What's the pattern? This is the thing I have been looking for. The thing to break my slump.

It is very N-I-C-E. To say the least!

I love it! What IS that pattern?

What fiber did you use for that, I love the drape! Hey, I hope I'll see it in person today. Look for me, I'll have my blue Birch on for identification's sake. I'd love to stop for breakfast, but have such a long drive-see you there!
